Do you know the difference between generic and specific risk assessments?

Many companies provide task-specific risk assessments – e.g. ‘working on scaffold’, which account for the general, basic risks associated with that particular work activity. These risk assessments are classed as generic. Companies fail to realise that they must also account for each particular 'sites conditions and requirements', to identify any site-specific risks associated with each work activity.

We will not only assist you in creating risk assessments relevant to your company’s activities, but also advise you how to identify where specific assessments may be required and how they should be conducted.
