Do you use subcontractors? If so, are you aware of your full responsibilities?
Companies are liable for the safety of their subcontractors. You must ensure any subcontractor used is fully competent for the task at hand and that you comply with your duties of verifying competence under the CDM 2015 Regulations. You must also be aware that if you are using sole traders as your subcontractors on a regular basis, your duty of care increases.

We will equip you with the means to effectively evaluate, monitor and record subcontractor competencies. We will also ensure you have communicated the necessary instruction to conduct their works safety when on site and that you provide sufficient management, appropriate to the subcontractors used.
